Resources
We offer a number of resources for students, coaches, parents, and others interested in learning the skills of argumentation.
First, be sure to check out The Great Debate, A handbook for policy debate and public forum debate which offers in-depth training for argumentation in the debate round, the classroom, and the real world. You can order the book here. Second, we offer free introduction to debate training video curriculum in both public forum debate and Lincoln-Douglas value debate. Coupling YouTube videos with written materials, this curriculum provides a virtual classroom experience to learn the basics of both debate styles. Contact us to receive a free copy of the student and coach packets to make full use of this resource. Finally, our twitter feed is filled with daily links to topics of interest to debaters in a number of competitive forensics leagues and a variety of debate styles. Be sure to follow us on twitter so you do not miss any of our tweets. |
